Analysis tools
Google Analytics 4
The web analysis service Google Analytics 4 is used on this website. The provider is Google LLC, whose responsible body for users in the EU, the EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
By using this tool, we are able to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus analyse the activities of a user across devices.
Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
In the Google Analytics 4 version, IP anonymisation is always activated when using this website. This means that your IP address is truncated within EU member states. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. According to Google, the IP address is not merged with other data.
When you visit our website, it is possible that, for example, page views, the first visit to the page, the start of the session, the click path, scrolls to the end of the page, clicks on external links, internal search queries, interaction with videos, your approximate location, the IP address in abbreviated form, technical browser information and your Internet provider are recorded.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. We carry out these analyses with the aim of optimising the performance of our website.
We use the User ID function. With the help of the user ID, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to one or more sessions (and the activities within these sessions) and analyse user behaviour across devices].
This website uses the ‘demographic characteristics’ function of Google Analytics in order to be able to display suitable adverts to website visitors within the Google advertising network. This allows reports to be generated that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section ‘Objection to data collection’.The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Your consent can be revoked at any time for the future.
Your stored data will be automatically deleted after 2 months at the latest.

Integration of YouTube videos
We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offer, which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. YouTube is another service provided by Google. YouTube videos are all embedded in “extended data protection mode”, which means that no data about users is transmitted to YouTube if they do not play the videos. Only when a user plays the videos is the following data transferred. We have no influence on this data transmission.
By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that the user has accessed the corresponding sub-page of our online offer when a video is played. In addition, further information about the use of this online offer (including the user’s IP address) is transmitted to a YouTube server in the USA and stored there. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account via which the user is logged in or whether no user account exists. If the user is logged in to YouTube, his or her data is directly assigned to his or her account. If a user does not wish to have their data associated with their YouTube profile, they must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or designing its website to meet users’ needs. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about the user’s activities on our online offer. The user has the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube can be found in the privacy policy, as well as further information on rights and setting options for the protection of privacy:
https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy.
The use of YouTube is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Integration of Vimeo videos
Our website uses plugins from Vimeo for the integration and display of video content. The provider of the video portal is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
When a page with an integrated Vimeo plugin is called up, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. Vimeo thereby learns which of our pages you have accessed. Vimeo learns your IP address, even if you are not logged in to the video portal or do not have an account there. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to the video portal’s servers in the USA. Vimeo can assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out first.
Details on the handling of user data can be found in Vimeo’s privacy policy at: https://vimeo.com/privacy.
The use of Vimeo is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.
